Why VibeShip exists

The problem we’re solving, the principles we’re shipping by, and what to expect as we build in public.

The gap

Most teams don’t struggle to build — they struggle to ship.

The work is real, the intent is good, and the backlog is endless. What breaks is the conversion from “we should” to “it’s live”.

VibeShip exists to close that gap with a system that’s:

  • clear about what matters,
  • ruthless about what doesn’t,
  • and honest about trade-offs.

The principles

We’re optimizing for:

  • Clarity over cleverness: if it can’t be explained, it can’t scale.
  • Durable interfaces: stable URLs, stable events, stable metadata.
  • Build-time truth: missing public metadata should fail early.
  • Reader-first surfaces: the blog should be indexable, fast, and readable without client code.

What we’ll publish here

Expect practical writing about:

  • product decisions we shipped,
  • systems we built to keep shipping,
  • metrics we trust (and why),
  • and the failures we learned from.
